Rachel C. Keenan
Law Clerk
Rachel grew up in Great Bend, Kansas, and graduated from Great Bend High School in 2016. She went on to study at the University of Kansas, where she had an enriching academic experience that inspired her to follow in her family’s footsteps and pursue a career in law.
Throughout her studies, Rachel sought opportunities to learn and make a difference—both in and out of the classroom. She served on the executive boards of student-led organizations and contributed as a general staff member of Creighton’s 2025 International and Comparative Law Journal. Her hands-on experience includes clerking at a law firm in Omaha and working as a Senior Certified Law Student with Creighton’s Milton R. Abrahams Legal Clinic, where she assisted clients with landlord-tenant, divorce, custody, and contract matters. These experiences strengthened her skills in legal research, drafting, and client advocacy.
Rachel also broadened her global perspective and learned more about music law through an internship at Kakao Entertainment’s Legal Division in Seoul, South Korea.
Dedicated to serving her community, Rachel approaches each matter with compassion, diligence, and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible results for her clients and community.
In her free time, she can often be found with a paintbrush in hand, a crochet hook nearby, and music playing in the background. She loves exploring new genres, diving into a good book, and finding beauty in everyday creativity.
